Tips & Tricks: Hey bloggers, make any page work with Tomahawklet! [Updated]

Let's say you are writing a blog post about some great new music, but you don't have the rights, wherewithal or patience to deal with posting MP3s. Well, with Tomahawklet's support of the hAudio microformat, you can easily add a little html markup around some metadata, and let your readers bring their own content to your context.

(hint: now is when you click on the Tomahawklet bookmarklet that you have dragged to your toolbar)

Let's say I wanted to rickroll you... it would be as easy as this:

  • Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up

    • Or maybe I wanted to tell you about a good new Foo Fighter's song...

  • Foo Fighters - Bridge Burning

    • Oh, by the way, you may want to check out this song too. I'm listening to it right now...

  • Maritime - Sea Horse Love

    • So, what's the magic? It's just a couple of simple HTML tags in the post, that looks like this:

    Easy, huh? Now just hit the Tomahawklet bookmarklet and watch the magic happen. Depending on the content sources your visitors have available they can listen to them individually, or as a playlist, directly from the page (via Tomahawk).
